Rules

outbid.onl runs on one mechanic. This page is the whole of it.

01

Rank is bought, not earned

The board is sorted purely by how much each listing has paid. There is no ranking algorithm, no engagement score, and nothing behind the order except the number on the right of each row.

02

Your listing writes itself

You enter a link and pay. That is the whole form. The name, the one-liner and the icon are read off the page you entered, and the address your receipt goes to is collected by Stripe on the payment page — this site never sees it.

03

Taking a slot

To take a slot you pay at least $1 more than whoever holds it. The listing you passed drops down one position; everything below it shifts accordingly. The floor for an empty board is $1.

04

One link, one row

A URL appears on the board once. What it shows is the highest amount ever paid for it — pay less than that and the board does not move. The payment is still final, it simply buys no position. Paying for a link you do not control is therefore a gift: it raises that listing, it cannot bury it.

05

Topping up

Enter the same link again and pay more. Your row moves up to the new amount, and the name, one-liner and icon are re-read from your page at the same time. Amounts do not stack — pay the number you actually want to sit at.

06

Ties

If two listings sit at the same amount, the one that got there first ranks higher. Being early is the only tiebreaker.

07

Payments are final

Bids are non-refundable, including one that fails to beat the amount already on your URL. You are buying a position on a public list, not a guarantee of how long you keep it. Someone will eventually pay more, and when they do you move down without notice.

08

What is not allowed

Malware, phishing, adult content, anything illegal where the site is hosted, and impersonation of a company or person you do not represent. Listings that break this are removed without a refund.

09

Links

Outbound links are marked nofollow, so a slot here does not pass SEO weight. What you get is placement in front of whoever is reading the board, and a click counter that tells you whether it worked.

10

Changing your listing

The quickest fix is to top up: a higher payment re-reads your page. Anything else — a link that moved, a listing you want taken down — reply to your receipt email. The amount cannot be edited downward.
